Mia and Ele could not be more different: one is a teenager struggling with a struggling relationship with her mother, the other is a young Romanian woman who works as a janitor. The two girls meet by chance, become accomplices by secretly smoking on the school fire escape and their so distant worlds collide. When Ele finds herself running away with her father’s old camper, she finds Mia inside, on the run and with a secret. Mia and Ele share a journey between friendship and love, but above all between adolescence and adulthood, which they could never have crossed without each other.
