The documentary narrates a journey through six Italian regions (Abruzzo, Marche, Emilia-Romagna, Veneto, Friuli-Venezia Giulia and Tuscany), to retrace the stories, traditions and cultures on the world of fishing. The narrative is divided into nine chapters, in which characters who have dedicated their existence to the sea are recounted.
